Anne Rose's Bio
Anne Rose is Founder of Rose Associates, a coaching and training company that focuses on the interrelated areas of communications, leadership, customer service and personal/professional development. Anne has been coaching and training people in Canada, the United States, Britain and Mexico. Anne works with people to improve work performance, create authentic communication and increase professional and personal satisfaction.Anne has held various positions within the business world including Director, Manager and Trainer. She has been a faculty member for Canadian Management Centre for 15 years, leading public programs, in-house customized programs and providing coaching services. She has also held a faculty position at Waterloo Management Education Centre (WATMEC), Conestoga College and Seneca College.
She has worked with companies in a variety of industries including high-tech, manufacturing, automotive, financial and educational industries. Customers have included: Nortel, Epson, Toyota, Lexmark, BMW, Architel Systems Corporation, Crystal Springs, Discount Car and Truck Rental, GE Capital, Motorola, Peel Regional Police, Procter & Gamble, Cambridge Hydro and Toronto Dominion Bank. Educationally, Anne studied Business and Psychology at York University and achieved her Honours Business at Seneca College. Professionally she has her Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation with the Human Resources Association of Canada.
Professionally Anne has proven dedication to her professional and the business community. Anne is a member of the International Coaching Federation and both a member and committee member of the Chamber of Commerce in Newmarket, Ontario. Anne also volunteers at schools to teach children about the art of communication. Previous volunteer positions have included: President, Ontario Society for Training and Development (OSTD) South Western Chapter, OSTD Board Member, OSTD Marketplace member and Board Member for The Seneca College Business Advisory Committee. In 1993, she formed the Toronto Training Networking Group, with a membership of more than 150 training professionals.
Anne has been a featured speaker/committee member in conferences including the Canadian Management Centre's Annual Administrative Professionals Conferences, OSTD conferences and the Business Advisory Services of Ontario Conference.
"Anne now delivers 7 courses via distance learning. Sessions are 10-12 sessions long. Instructor-student ratios are smaller than traditional classes which allows for more one-on-one learning and more customized scenarios. Sessions are highly interactive. Learning is concentrated with assigned activities between sessions for maximized learning."
